  15. When running Microsoft Word for Windows in Windows NT, the File Open
  16. dialog box may not appear if Master Word is installed.
  17.  
  18. Master Word replaces some Word for Windows commands, such as File
  19. Open, with its own macros. Some of these macros may not operate
  20. correctly in Windows NT. When you are using Master Word with Word for
  21. Windows in Windows NT, and you choose Open from the File menu, the
  22. File Open dialog box does not appear and you are not able to open
  23. previously saved files in Word for Windows.

  25. To work around this problem, either reinstall Word for Windows in
  26. Windows NT without Master Word or remove the Master Word macros.
